I met Reagan 8 days after she was delivered at Abington Hospital, and she was so cute! Mom brought Reagan all by herself, and I could tell just by looking at her that she was sooo excited to get the portraits done. As a mom of two boys (like myself), I think she was dying for some girlie time. I had a lot of fun with this session, and I think Mom did, too.
We worked with a beautiful pallet of soft pinks and pale purples, and I even pulled out my vintage baby carriage for this sleepy little gal. But I’m really drawn to the pale lavender ruffle shot with Reagan wrapped up all snug as a bug. She just looks so peaceful! I also was really pleased with the mom and baby images (I wish I had something like this with my own kids—the time goes so fast)! I loved the whole session, though, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Mom told the story of how she and Dad had Reagan’s name picked out since they were dating(!):
On one of our first dates, I mentioned I loved the name Reagan for a little girl. Oddly enough, it was Kevin’s favorite girl name (close second was Piper). Fate!
On a funny side note: We discovered a neat coincidence. Her doctor, Dr. Keen, was also my doctor for one of my pregnancies!
Thank you, Cassandra & Kevin, for letting me meet this beautiful girl! I’m so proud to be part of your lives as your family expands, and I hope to see you again soon.
Thank you so much to Reagan’s Mom & Dad for choosing me to be their photographer and as always thank you for stopping by to take a look at this beautiful session.
